From what I have read so far, the Ming Dynasty is known for their powerful emperors and powerful army. They had many emperors, 17 to be exact. There are 2 of the emperors who meant the most to their empire and they are Emperor Hongwu and Emperor Yongle. In other words, they are the first emperor and the third emperor. The emperors are Hongwu, Jainwon, Yongle, Hongxi, Xuande, Zhengtong, Jingtai, Tainshun, Chenghua, Hongzhi, Zhengde, Jainjing, Longquin, Wanli, Taichang, Taina, Changzhen.Thursday, February 10, 2011

Woah, I had no idea one dynasty could have that many emperors. Apparently they were a very powerful empire.
